We’re thrilled to partner with you for the upcoming school year to bring both traditional and personalized yearbooks to your school community. Here is an overview of our process and information for your reference.

Our Process

We break down the yearbook creation process as six key steps. You’ll receive detailed emails for each step, following the estimated timeline below:

  1. August-September: We’ll begin by sharing instructions on collecting photos for the yearbook, along with instructions on how to organize them into folders.

  2. September-October: We’ll provide access to your school’s ordering platform, along with a customizable flyer and a dashboard to track ordering progress.

  3. November-December: We recommend uploading school portraits on the google drive folder and starting to think about hosting an optional cover art contest.

  4. January-February: You’ll receive a link to your CANVA project for the yearbook, complete with instructions for drafting the ladder and selecting a theme. This is also a good time to run a cover art contest and set the delivery date and preferences in the dashboard. (Please note that we need 15 business days for print and delivery. 

  5. February: This period will focus on fact-checking portrait pages and making any necessary revisions. We recommend communicating end of MARCH as the photo upload deadline (except for the 1-3 events that happen in April).

  6. March-April: We’ll work on drafting the rest of the book, incorporating revisions, securing final approvals, and then moving forward with personalization, printing, and delivery.

  • If families need assistance with the ordering platform or custom pages, they can contact support@rethinkyearbooks.com or you can pull us in as needed. Please note that all other communication regarding the yearbook and photos needs to be handled at the school site. If we get those emails, we will reply to them to contact their school's yearbook team and BCC you as an FYI.

 

To ensure you receive all our emails, please add us to your address book or contact list, as strict email filters can sometimes send messages to spam folders.
